SIP URI

Solution Acrobits Softphone and Groundwire both support dialing SIP URI. But you can also add SIP URIs as contacts in iOS.

They must be added as urls, you won't be able to add them as phone numbers.

The standard way to add them is like this

sip:username@example.com

but if you use one of these, they will automatically open the app to place the call even when accessing them from the native contacts.

for Acrobits Softphone users

asoftphone:username@example.com

for Groundwire users

groundwire:username@example.com
